IONIX: ASM and exposure management facts (2026)

SHORT ANSWER

IONIX maps subsidiaries, brands and the digital supply chain, confirms exploitability with safe, non-intrusive tests and invokes compensating controls such as WAF rules, with re-validation of fixed items. It is the only vendor here with WAF posture management across 50+ WAF vendors. Its AWS Marketplace plans start at $25,000 a month; its validation is less aggressive than attack-style testing, internal assets are not described and no integrations list is published.

Where is IONIX strong, and where are its limits?

Strengths and limits come from the vendor's own pages and our sources; a limit can be something we did not find.

Strengths

  • Maps subsidiaries, brands, acquisitions and third- and fourth-party assets, and attributes each asset to a subsidiary or business owner.
  • The only vendor here with WAF posture management: it checks which assets your WAFs cover across 50+ WAF vendors, and for a new CVE states a 12-hour SLA to a validated exposure plus a deployable WAF rule.
  • Acts on exposures for you and checks the result: compensating controls through WAF rules and Active Protection, and re-validation of remediated items.

Limits

  • Validation uses safe, non-intrusive tests; CyCognito, Hadrian and watchTowr describe more aggressive attack-style testing.
  • Internal (behind the firewall) assets are not described on the pages we read.
  • No integrations list is published, and the lowest AWS Marketplace plan is $25,000 a month.
